even though its pretty ironic, i need a non-fiction romance book and it is close to impossible to find one!!!!!!!!!!!pleaseeee help
Jane Austen–Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion, Mansefield Park, Emma, Northgrange Abbey—formal, classics from the time when romance was an art–lovely!!
Charlotte Bronte–Jane Eyre–a dark romance
Lucy Maud Montgomery (the BEST) –The Blue Castle, Emily series, Anne of Green Gables series, Kilmeny of the Orchard, At the Altar–tons more–very uplifting and romantic and poetic
Baroness Orczy–The Scarlet Pimpernel —> super amazing once you get past the first ground-setting chapters—a real page turner! It had me on the edge of my seat, and heartrending romance
Charles Dickens–A Tale of Two Cities–a tragic romance
This should get you started. These are REAL romance novels, ones that last and are enjoyed for generations not those cheap ten cent garbage ones that have no plot and are all emotion. I loved these and I am sure you will too. My favorite is LM Montgomery, everyone remembers her for the Anne series but she wrote some pretty amazing books that don’t get much attention, plus tons of short stories. Happy reading!

I’m a hopeless romantic, and I’m looking for a good romance book to read. Can you suggest one and give me a little synopsis on what the story is about?
Thanks
"Katherine" by Anya Seton is my all-time favorite.
It’s based on a true story from medieval England. In true fairy tale fashion, the king’s son and a beautiful commoner fall in love. Unfortunately, in the real world, there is no way they can possibly marry; she’s too far beneath his station. However, their lives keep crossing paths and by the time they’re both widowed, they can’t deny their love any longer…
And that’s only halfway through the book. There’s lots more romance, heartache, and history to cover before the story ends. I absolutely fell in love with both of the main characters. They’re so well drawn that you’re going to be rooting for them to have their happy ending the whole way along. It’s a great book.

If you have read a romance book, you know that it makes falling in love sound wonderful-it makes you sooo excited to experience it for yourself. I wouldn’t know, but is that what love is really like? Or are they just books? Is falling in love really that good?
yes, it is. but the ironic part is sometimes YOU’re falling in love, but you can’t be sure about if HE’s falling in love with you or not.

Like the guy is the more submissive one in the relationship and the girl is more dominating. It has to be young adult. It doesn’t really need to be a romance book, it just needs to have that kind of relationship.
Just as note, I know that there are no truly defined roles for males and females when it comes to romantic relationships, but when I say the roles are reversed, I mean the ones you generally see in literature. Especially since Twilight came out.
Think of it as the opposite of Edward and Bella’s relationship.
I guess in the Mortal Instruments series Clary has this relationship with Jace, you know–even though it’s much more complicated, but if you haven’t read it–definitely check it out…like now. It’s verrry good/hilarious/sexy/spooky.
Um…also try Just Listen as well, by Sarah Desen. And I think in Forever by Judy Blume, the couple has a relationship like this too.

Right now I’m reading ‘The Negotiator’ by Dee Henderson. Do you have any other romance books or authors? Only Christian, please and thank you!
Lori Wick writes good Christian romance. My favorite book is The Princess. She also has many series. Janette Oke has lots of books that are considered romance. She writes mainly historical, and The Canadian West series is my favorite. Debby Giusti is a new author who writes inspirational romantic suspense. Her book is called Nowhere To Hide.
