I recently had an interest in romance anime and had watched kanon(2006),clannad, and clannad after story. I really liked it and was wondering if there are any other romance just like them.
clannad after story made me cry a lot!!!! i loved that show. it was the best show of like 2008 adn 2009. it deserves a lot of credit. romeoXjuliet blew me away too. this is a story loosly based of the one by shakespear. just watch it on animecrazy.net it is so good and heart breaking. u feel the distance the between the 2 charactrs. i loved it. code geass has some love in it. well lets just say 90% of ppl call code geass a total master pieace so just go and check it out. death note too.now back to romance. watch school days. it will blow away what u know about endings.another one i especially remember was akane iro ni somaru saka and da capo(most reason seasons) their bothe incest based but still pretty good. phantom requiem for phantom is somewhat one. where u feel some love but they dont get passed that barrier of friends and lovers. well whatever. go check out RomeoXJuliet

Lay aside the stereotypes and the skepticism and tell me what you really, honestly think about romance novels. It can be stories by Jane Austen or Nora Roberts. A recent statistic showed that half of what is published today is from the romantic genre. We’re not talking erotica here: just mainstream romance, the love stories–not the sex stories. What is your opinion of this genre and why do you think people are snapping them up left and right?
i’m quite a fan of them. i think that people also enjoy them because its what many people want to find. like, its realistic fiction at its best. what happens in those novels, such as with jane austen, cause i am a big fan of hers, these things can actually happen, its just rare to find. =) i think thats why people are so intrigued with them, it opens their minds to reality and what can happen while making it seem like a fantasy. ♥
I love to read supernatural books or anything with vampires, werewolves etc. PLEASE NO YOUNG ADULT BOOKS! The more romance scenes *cough sex cough* the better. And please avoid bookswith a lot of cheesy dialodge

Supernatural historical romance. 
I love Sarah Dessen books but I already own Keeping the moon. So don’t mention that one…but are there any other really good you people know…I’m more focusing on teen romances than really serious marriage romances. I already know that twilight is a good romance book about a vampire falling in love with a girl and I am already getting that one…so any suggestions people?
WELLL.. there is this one book i just read today and i really liked it. Its called Summer Promise and its a focus on the family publishing.. its the christy miller series by Robin Jones Gunn and its the first book… but i liked. Its about a girl named christy and she vacationing in CA over the summer and she meets this guy ,todd, and her wavers back between christy n another girl. and its also kind of a faith reader kind of book so yeah.

Any book that Nicholas Sparks has written. I’m not big into romance or love stories, and I’m not an emotional person – but his books always tug on my heart strings and make me cry.
I love historical romance novels especially ones written by Judith McNaught. I’ve pretty much read all her books and I want to find other authors who write like her and in that same period. Thanks for the help in advance
Kresley Cole has some good ones. She also has a supernatural kind of series that’s pretty awesome.
Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series is also really good.

I enjoy books like: Mr. Perfect, Kiss of the Highlander, Out of Time/Both Sides of Time/Prisoner of Time, Lynsay Sands Argeneau Vampire Series, Twilight Series, & many more. I’m not picky. I love historical romances. I love mysteries with romance. I absolutely love vampire romances books by any authors. Do you have any suggestions for others?
