Like the guy is the more submissive one in the relationship and the girl is more dominating. It has to be young adult. It doesn’t really need to be a romance book, it just needs to have that kind of relationship.
Just as note, I know that there are no truly defined roles for males and females when it comes to romantic relationships, but when I say the roles are reversed, I mean the ones you generally see in literature. Especially since Twilight came out.
Think of it as the opposite of Edward and Bella’s relationship.
I guess in the Mortal Instruments series Clary has this relationship with Jace, you know–even though it’s much more complicated, but if you haven’t read it–definitely check it out…like now. It’s verrry good/hilarious/sexy/spooky.
Um…also try Just Listen as well, by Sarah Desen. And I think in Forever by Judy Blume, the couple has a relationship like this too.

Im going to the library soon and im getting two books, i really like romance/drama books so if any of you can give me ideas id appreciate it. Thank You! =]
i’d go for twilight. they’re quick easy reads and everyone is going to be reading and talking about them so you get pop culture points too. kiss me forever and love me forever are more vampire romance books that are kind of popular. they’re by rosemary laurey. check out your library’s young adult section. most of those books should be "appropriate" for your age group and you should be able to glance around and find series if that’s what you want or skim for romance/drama. happy reading

Hi I was wondering if any of you know some really mushy teen/young adult romance novels that I can read. lol. I love those types of books. So, any that you really loved?
-Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses series is great, although no paranormal in that – Black "crosses" are superior to white "noughts", forbidden love story
-Lucas by Kevin Brooks is great, amazing ending! Very sad, one of my favourite books.
-Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials (Northern lights, the Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass) are amazing, so complex and well thought out. almost as good as harry potter!
-The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is a really interesting read, and is getting made into a movie, so excited for it!
A little girl is murdered and watches from heaven as her family copes (not much romance but a good book)
PS I Love You by Cecelia Ahern and The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks also, great romances
Hope i helped!

Are there any good young adult romance novels set in the 1800’s to early 1900’s; i love those types of books!
Ummmm… you could try jane austen, her books pride and prejudice, and sense and sensibilty (along w/ many others) but they’re kind of a hard read in my opinion.
Dont’ know any others…. sorry…

I am look for a funny type of romance book. I am more looking for a high school type setting. Something up to date, that I can relate to. A lot of drama , but not to much. I don’t like books with a lot of slang. It seems like I can’t find anymore books and I am at a total lost.
I am currenty 16 years old.
Have u tried the Twilight Series?
Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer.
They are great. Give them a try.
Also:
~Jinx
~Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac
~Pretty Much anything by Sarah Dessen
~ My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult
~ Forever by Judy Blume (Not my favorite though)

i like reading modern romance novels that include a little action. Got any suggestions?
Judy Blume’s Forever is a classic.
Kristen Tracy’s Lost It
Sarah Dessens and Meg Cabot are good as well, and not super graphic.

Keyword: young adult. No sex or anything.
But what characteristics in a young adult romance/supernatural novel would keep you on your toes?
Thanks, I appreciate every modest answer!
Haha I love L.J Smith and I’m planning on reading those books (thanks for the suggestions) but I’m wondering what traits make a good book. Thank you though!
Night world Series-By L.J. Smith
House of Night Series- P.C Cast + Kristen Cast
There really good.
